My name is Donna Somerville and I have been coming to FCC for 18 years. I came to FCC when my first daughter was old enough for Sunday. FCC has been a caring, compassionate, supportive community to help me raise my children up in the ways of the Lord.

My own personal faith walk is one of learning to surrender in deeper and deeper ways to the will of the Lord and to the love of the Lord. Every major struggle in my life has blessed me with an even closer relationship with the Lord, and in turn, more joy and more peace in this world, regardless of circumstances.    

Those struggles include having my children, dealing with illness, adoption and a complete switch in my career as a result of a call on my heart from God.
