We believe that kids can be mature disciples of Jesus and deserve to be treated with the same respect, attention, and care we give to adults. Jesus said, "let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14).
The nursery is located downstairs from the sanctuary. We are well equipped to welcome your little one: safe toys, gliders, areas for crawlers to explore, a separate (and quiet) climate-controlled room for them to take a nap, and (our best resource) a staff of volunteers who shower love on your little one. If you would like a tour of our nursery before dropping your son/daughter off, please contact Pastor Danny. For parents who choose to have their infant stay with them during the service please feel free to use the nursery to feed or change your baby.
The toddler room is downstairs from the sanctuary next to the nursery. Your toddler has access to fun toys and in good weather gets to play in our beautiful outdoor play area. Interspersed in the play time is a short Bible-focused lesson and a snack time. We also provide take-home sheets that give parents ideas on how to incorporate spiritual lessons into family life at home.
Immediate help needed in Toddler's Classroom! Our Toddlers Ministry is growing ~ that's great news! With this, we could certainly use some help for the Toddler's classroom in the next coming Sundays for the 9:00 am & 11:00 am services. To sign up, please contact Pastor Danny. Thank you!
The pre-k & K kids' program is located in the Treehouse building during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am hour. At 9:00 am, we combine the pre-k and K students into one classroom located next to the playground. At 11:00 am, we have separate classes for pre-k and K kids. During these classes, teachers take kids through Bible-based curriculum that follows a section of Scripture for multiple weeks in a row.
Summer Sunday school schedule! Pre-K & Kindergarten meet in K Room at 9:00 am & 11:00 am. Kids will "move-up" to the next grade/class.
Kids Church is located in the Little Angels room in the Treehouse building during the 9:00 am and 11:00 am services. Our goal at Kids Church is to grow kids in their love for God, His Word and His Church. We begin each morning at Kids Church with singing and then hear a lesson from the Bible. We are in the midst of a 5 year walk thru the Bible and will wrap up the Old Testament this school year. We use video, skits, puppets, games, and experiments to make learning fun. About halfway through each hour, we split up the students by grade for breakout sessions where they do crafts, play games, and discuss what they have learned. Each month we feature a take-home memory verse that we encourage kids to learn. Every few months we plan a weekend event for kids or for kids and their families.
Kids who have completed grades 1 to 5 will meet in the Adult Center Room located at the end of the hall at 9:00 am & 11:00 am. Kids will "move up" to the next grade/class.
For the first Sunday of each month, there is no 1st - 5th grade programming. Nursery, toddler, Pre-K and K programs are still available. We believe that children and youth are not just vital to the life of the church, they ARE the church, and we want to be intentional in giving them voice and encouraging them to participate in our worship services. That is why we encourage all our kids and youths to participate in Worship Together Sundays on the first Sunday of each month.
Kids Club is a time for K-5th grade students to play, learn, snack, and have fun together! We meet once a month during the school year.
Every kid is welcome even if you are not part of the FCC community. It is run by Pastor Danny and our team of volunteers.

Mitch the Traveling Bear
Mitch goes home with a different Kids Church kid each week. He also comes with a white binder for the kid to write, draw, or post photos about what they did with Mitch. This is a way for us to get to know our kids better and for them to comfortably share about their lives outside of church. Mitch has also traveled on various FCC mission trips and there is a red book in our classroom for kids to look through to learn about those.
If your children are staying for both 9:00 am and 11:00 am Kids Church, you do not need to pick them up between services. On non-rainy days, we will take any kids who are there between 10:30 am to 10:55 am to the playground to get some energy out.
FCC is welcoming to all kids! If your child has needs that make you anxious at Sunday School drop-off, please reach out to Pastor Danny or one of our lead teachers. We have a questionnaire that will help us get to know your child better and how we can best serve him/her. Also know that we have a support group of parents of special needs kids that meets 2 Sundays per month.
Kids Club is a time for K-5th grade students to come enjoy games, crafts, snacks, lesson, and fun! Every kid is welcome even if you are not part of the FCC community.
