About Our Speaker:

Rev. Brian Kay, PhD is a psychotherapist in private practice as well as a staff pastor at Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church. He has an interest in the incredibly fertile intersection of theology and psychology, and in assisting people to grow in the delight of knowing God and knowing themselves. He was a founding pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church in San Luis Obispo and has taught at Fuller Theological Seminary, Cal Poly State University, and Holy Names University. On his off hours he likes to e-mountain bike (sorry, purists!), play blues guitar (poorly), and hang out with his wife and three children in the East Bay hills.
