Sunday Morning Study invites FCC adults of all ages to gather Sunday mornings in the Oak Room. In the new year, we will resume meeting at 8:30am, before the Worship Service.
The Gospel of Mark plays a strategic role in the Bible. It is the shortest and earliest of the four Gospels, concise in its treatment of Christ’s life, death, and resurrection. Mark’s Gospel presents Jesus as the Messiah and the suffering servant, who is rejected by the religious authorities. Mark shows Jesus as the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies and as the one who announces the arrival and ushering in of the Kingdom of God.
