Luke 2:18

18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.

Luke 2:18 by Dan Johnson

“and all who heard it were amazed…”  So, then what happened? Did all who were amazed take it to heart and believe? Did they accept this precious gift?

When our daughter was still a toddler I brought home a balloon for her. A nice, red, helium-filled balloon  When I opened the door and she saw the balloon, her eyes widened, her mouth hung open, and her movement ceased. “A balloon!” she exclaimed in amazement. Then, as I handed her the string she realized that the balloon was for her. “For me?!!” Her face brightened, she shrieked with joy, grabbed the gift and ran from one end of the room to the other; back and forth; back and forth; overwhelmed with delight. Undoubtedly, you have witnessed or experienced similar scenes.

God sent His son as a gift to a needy world. He also sent His son just for YOU!  Will you accept the gift? Feel free to insert your name: “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to_______”.
